Al-Kamra was born as an artistic troupe of the hands of the Argentine master teacher, Kayra, Paula Alvarez, at the end of the year 2007.

The troupe is comprised of 6 members: Naima, Raissa, Suraima, Marian, Aisel y Saguira .They are dancers with a great experience that will entertain and mesmerize audiences with their talent and a wide variety of dance styles (Folk, Cabaret, Tribal, Bollywood, Flamenco Fusion, African Fusion, Bellynes-Polynesian Dance…) on the basis of the Egyptian dance, Raks Sharqui, in which they have been formed.

They also include the use of different elements in their dances such as: veils, Isis´ wings, shamadam or candelabrum, finger cymbals, candles, swords, rose petals, canes, feather fans …

Al-Kamra offers a show, therefore, as varied as fascinating. It is the ideal choice for private events (weddings, anniversaries, parties…) or public ones. Because of their training and belly dancers diversity is an excellent alternative to the traditional groups.
